Our Mission

The Grand Haven Area Arts Council's mission is to Advocate for the Arts & Community. To foster the arts is the Tri-Cities. Overall advocation for local arts organizations.

Who We Are

Walk into the doors of 1045 Columbus Avenue, and you will be visually delighted by everything from the pattern of the carpet, the coffee house tables and chairs, to the display of jewelry, oil, photography, and watercolor by local artisans. Here is the community arts resource, not only for artists, and art organizations, but also for school and neighborhood functions, community organizations and residents of the greater Tri-cities area. From the Celebration of Trees to ballroom dance lessons, poetry readings, Eastown Fallfest and the Grand Fashion Show, the GHAAC is the place to help you organize and hold your event. Planning a high school reunion? Call us! We’ll help you make it a celebration to remember. Monopoly and Chess tournaments, as well as a St. Paddy’s Day Party…you name it, we’ve got the time and place for you! Rental of the facility is available for celebrations as well as meetings and classes.

The GHAAC is dedicated to Art in its many forms. Through monthly newsletters and press releases, the public is kept abreast of all the on going opportunities for art in the community. From musical entertainment venues, at Millpoint Park in Spring Lake, and Central Park in Grand Haven, to the Glitz and Glamour Talent show, GHAAC provides entertainment for everyone. Want to enter a writing contest? How about trying your skill at Chess? Come and tempt your creative side; be a part of the Arts in Grand Haven!
